Anthony and his team are AWESOME! Everyone at our wedding danced from the beginning to the last song, so I can’t thank him and his team enough to make our day so special and fun. The sax player enhanced the experience and everyone loved it! We only got compliments about how amazing our DJ was. My family and friends are from Brazil, so he was able to mix perfectly the Portuguese and English songs. We 100% recommend him and his team. Thanks for making our wedding the perfect day!

Sound Active Events was amazing at our wedding! We have pretty specific music tastes and they did a great job at capturing that while keeping everyone dancing. We’re so glad we also had Kevin the Sax player there, he really added to the environment we were looking for. We got so many compliments! They were also very organized and made the whole process stress free. Highly recommend them!
Their preparation leading up to the wedding is amazing. During our wedding they quickly adapted and delivered a perfect night on the dance floor.
They did an absolutely Amazon job. They had met all my expectations and more! My favorite part of the whole experience was the percussion players. Such a great touch and worth the price. I would recommend them to anyone I know.

Our wedding was a night to remember and my husband and I are very grateful to Anthony. He handled the flow of events and the music seamlessly. He is clearly seasoned, and not at all overbearing. We were able to enjoy dancing and being with our guests without feeling interrupted. He guided me through the reception in a way that was caring and mindful. He even gave me advice on how to throw the bouquet , which at the time I didn’t realize I needed. I would highly recommend Sound Active Events to anyone who wants great music and dancing all night long. Don’t hesitate to book and just trust them. They know what they’re doing!
Anthony, Jason, and Danny are the best in the business!!! Not only are they personable and know their business inside and out, they make sure that they know EVERYTHING that will go on the day of your wedding so they can execute it perfectly and coordinate with your venue. They also have this AMAZING client portal that will help navigate you towards picking your songs and special moments. And the team is there for you whenever you need them! They have so many packages and can work with any budget to make YOUR dream come true. I can’t recommend SAE enough!!!
The Soundactive event guys were absolutely amazing! The dance floor was packed all night, and all of our guests are still commenting on how amazing the music and vibe was! We cannot thank you enough! The music was everything and more that we could have imagined. The planning process was super easy with the online portal- and we had two planning phone calls with Anthony, which put our minds as ease. I highly recommend them for any event!
Going into our wedding day, we had extremely high expectations for our DJ and MC team. They needed to seamlessly mix Bollywood and American music, they needed to organize cuts of songs for several special dances, and they needed to fit in an ambitious amount of events, including sparklers, performances, and dance sets. Eric and Jason were the perfect team – we could not have asked for better! They kept the energy high all night and worked with us in the moment to ensure that everything stayed organized and on track. An added bonus – Eric managed to capture gorgeous photos of our ceremony and the reception while working. Highly recommend Sound Active Events – THANK YOU GUYS!
We had an absolutely amazing time working with Sound Active! Our venue recommended them, and we could not have been happier. They are extremely organized and provide an online portal that got us thinking about all sorts of music preferences that we had not even considered. They were considerate when we voiced our preferences mixed the music well. The DJ and MC kept people dancing all evening and the event flowed beautifully.
BOOK THEM NOW! A DJ can truly make or break your night and these guys were incredible! They had people out on the dance floor all night, and always knew exactly what song to play. I couldn’t be happier with how things went. Highly highly recommend!

They were very attentive and always checked when we were ready to start the next round of dancing. I wish I lived in NY…I would hire him for everything!!! 5 stars all around!!
Sound Active Events did an amazing job! Our guests (and us!) were dancing until the bitter end. Really enjoyed the fun and smooth transitions between songs to keep the energy going. I also appreciated our DJ/MC team following through on the timeline and double checking especially if it seemed like the energy of the party was shifting (i.e. maybe what was envisioned in the timeline doesn’t make as much sense in real life). Overall it was a fantastic experience.

My wedding was this past Sunday! Sound active events were such a pleasure to work with!! After finding this vendor and giving them a call, I immediately clicked with the MC/DJ Anthony. His team for my wedding came with a DJ, MC, and someone who also ran the photo booth. My family LOVES to party even on a Sunday! Sound active events understood the assignment! My family/friends were dancing all night!!!!! they played my playlist perfectly during the ceremony and they were on point with reading the crowd. They were so friendly and attentive! Also, we were not sure if we were able to get a dry ice machine for the “cloud effect” being that this is so hard to find nowadays. Anthony went ABOVE and BEYOND to find one the day before the wedding and had someone drive all the way out to NYC to get one. We are so grateful and thankful to have found you guys and I hope to work with you again in the future. Everyone keeps saying it was the absolute best wedding they have ever been to! We absolutely loved them! THANK YOU SO MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART FOR THIS EPIC WEDDING! BOOK THEM NOW! YOU WILL NOT REGRET THIS 🙂
We used Sound Active Events at our wedding earlier this month and cannot recommend then enough! We had our ceremony at a private home followed by a reception at a hotel, so going into wedding planning, I was a bit nervous to find a DJ who could accommodate both. When we found Anthony, he assured us it was no problem at all! We loved going through their online portal and organizing all of our songs for each major part of the wedding/reception. The portal is super user friendly and kept us organized, while also giving us great recommendations for songs when we were stumped. At the reception, Anthony did an amazing job of keeping everyone on the dance floor by playing songs that kept everyone singing along. We had so many friends and family tell us he was one of the best wedding DJs they had encountered and we could not agree more!
Would never have guessed that my favorite wedding vendor would be our DJ, but Sound Active Events was that good. They were super organized from start to finish. We went in knowing they would do a good job and they blew it out of the water. We gave them a handful of songs for a sense of what music we like and they ran with it and curated a perfect vibe for the night. We have friends who don’t usually dance who were on the dance floor all night long. Anthony and his team are incredible at what they do and are lovely to work with, do not hesitate to book them!
Sound Active Events did an amazing job at my wedding on 7.8.22. We couldn’t be happier with their service. They kept the party going and all my request were handled with care and promptly. They did my now husbands dream entrance mashup. Which is everything to us. It was a great experience working with them and couldn’t have been happier with the way our wedding turned out. So many of my friends who are engaged and are planning their wedding are calling them for their special day. My husband and I are very grateful to them. Sound Active Events was one of the recommended vendors at our venue and I can truly say they did not disappoint! They kept the party going all night and the music selection and flow were great. Communication was fantastic beforehand and on the day of and I went into the day with no concerns. We also had a photo booth with them and that was also amazing! Seriously, Sound Active Events was a great team & I would highly recommend!!

Sound Active’s thorough pre-event questionnaire eliminates all your music worries for your big day so that a solid expectation level is in place. The MC & DJ absolutely rocked the house for our wedding. Our guests are currently unable to walk from dancing so much. They kept the crowd involved and entertained. You would be hard pressed to find another company with this much talent for the price. I can’t thank them enough.
